Lourdes Eileen Costanzi died Saturday afternoon at St. Luke Lutheran Community, North Canton, Ohio. She was the former Lourdes E. O’Hara.
Born in Scranton, the daughter of the late Edward J. O’Hara and Margaret Mary Radle O’Hara, she was educated in Scranton schools. She worked at Hadden Craftsmen in quality control as well as other places of employment. Following her retirement she worked as a bus driver for DeNaples Transportation Co. Lourdes was a member of the Ladies of UNICO and a member of the St. Anthony of Padua Christian Mother’s.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert V. Costanzi, her son Albert P. Costanzi and her sister, Mrs. Margaret Mary Boland.
Surviving are a daughter, Ann Janer, Opelika, AL, daughter–in-law, Mrs. Judy Costanzi, Canton, OH, granddaughters Margaret Goss (Eric), Lisa French (Brian), and Rachael Allan (Michael) and five great grandchildren, Samuel Goss, Hannah Goss, Logan Goss, Joseph Goss and Allie Marie Allan.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to St. Luke Lutheran Community, North Canton for their kind, considerate, loving care. Appreciation and gratitude are also sent to Crossroads Hospice for their commitment that no one dies alone.
The funeral will be conducted on Monday from the Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home Inc., 1030 N. Main Ave. with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Mary, Mother of God Parish at Holy Rosary Church, 316 William St. Entombment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects Sunday 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
