Frank Manfredi
Frank E. Manfredi, 51, of Dunmore passed away on December 28th surrounded by his loving family at the Regional Hospital of Scranton.
Born in Scranton, Frank was the son of Frances Manfredi and the late Eugenio Manfredi. Frank graduated from Dunmore High School in 1985. He earned an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science from Penn State Scranton. Frank was employed as an IT Technician for over 20 years in the IT Department at Allied Services. He was a long time member of St. Anthony De Padua Church in Scranton until its closing and was currently a member of Mary Mother of God Parish.
He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend who will be missed by all who knew him. Frank was a sincere gentleman who was always willing to help others. He shared his computer expertise with anyone who asked. He loved spending time with his friends. Family was of the utmost importance to Frank. He tremendously enjoyed Sunday family dinners and the holiday family gatherings. His niece & nephew were his greatest joy and they shared a very special bond. He proudly supported all of their activities. There was nothing he enjoyed more than watching the Philadelphia Eagles and playing games with them.
Also surviving are his mother Frances of Dunmore, his sister Maria and husband Todd Rehder of South Abington Township; a nephew Nathan Rehder and niece Elyse Francesca Rehder; and numerous aunts, uncles & cousins. His father Eugenio also preceded him in death.
His family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Charles Deck, Dr. Kenneth Lilik, the entire staff of Allied Services Skilled Nursing – 2 North and all of the compassionate people involved in his care over the years.
