Louis Cimini, 83, of West Scranton died Friday January 5, 2018 at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart Inpatient Unit. His wife of 60 years is the former Teresa Giovannoni.
Born in Patrica, Italy he was the son of the late Terige and Maria Baldassarre Cimini. He emigrated to the United States in 1957 and settled in Scranton. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a Master Tailor at Friedman’s Men’s Shop. He was a member of St. Lucy’s Church and the Victor Alfieri Society
Also surviving are son Louis and wife Rose Sebastianelli-Cimini, Clarks Summit; daughter Lisa Erhard and husband Christopher, Scranton; grandchildren Nina and Christopher Erhard; sister Albina Mancino, Lebanon; brothers Vincent and wife Frances, Scranton, Pio, Lebanon, and John and Theresa, Clarks Summit; several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews
The funeral will be conducted on Monday from the Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home Inc., 1030 N. Main Ave. with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Lucy’s Church, 949 Scranton St. Interment at Cathedral Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family. Everyone attending the funeral is kindly asked to proceed directly to church. Family and friends may pay their respects Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Lucy’s Church 949 Scranton St., Scranton, PA 18504.
