Life Story for Theresa "Terry" Miller

Theresa "Terry" Miller
Theresa (Terry) Miller of Scranton died September 26, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas J. Miller in 2005.
Born in Wyndmoor, PA daughter of the late Jennie Adams Connor and Anthony Cimino.
She graduated from Technical High School. Before her retirement she was employed by Lackawanna County at the Area Agency on Aging.
Theresa was a talented musician and had a lifelong love and appreciation of music. She was a natural piano player and started playing when she was four years old. She also loved playing the guitar and accordion. She was a wonderful singer with a soulful, emotional voice. We will forever think of her playing and singing her favorite song: Twilight Time. More than anything, she shared her gift with others by entertaining at local nursing homes; there was never a song requested she didn’t know. She loved a sing-a-long and making recordings of her friends and family singing.
She was also a tap dancer and in her early years entertained locally and sang on the radio.
She is survived by five children: Richard, Gloria, and Nancy all of Scranton, PA., Thomas, Massachusetts (wife Liliana) and Joan (companion Cedric) New York State. She also has seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters: Marianne Pirino, Gloria Ross, and Mary Heller.
Theresa had wonderful sense of humor and always had a joke for every occasion. We will miss her gentle spirit, strong faith, quick laugh, and beauty. She will be deeply missed.
She is a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish at Holy Rosary Church.
The funeral will be conducted Saturday with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Mary Mother of God Parish at Holy Rosary Church, 316 William St. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 at the Solfanelli-Fiorillo funeral home Inc., 1030 N. Main Ave.
